Alliteration

DefinitionAlliteration means the first sound of a series of words are the same.

Example"I am what I want you to want, what I want you to feel."(Lyrics.com, Linkin Park, Faint)

ExplanationThis is an example of Alliteration because the first sound of a series of words in a phrase have the same sounding beginning.  "What I want you want" all have the same starting letter, which qualifies this phrase to be alliteration.  When a song writer uses this term it creates an amazing affect.  What it does is make the sentence or phrase flow.
